According to World Health Organisation (WHO), female breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in 2020 with an estimated 2.3 million new cases (11.7%), followed by lung (11.4%), colon (10%), and prostate (7.3%) and stomach (5.6%) cancers. Breast cancer is also one of the important reasons for cancer deaths among women worldwide.

Every Tuesday afternoon breast examination clinic is set up that is completely managed by a women specialist. The hospital also provides Mammography and PAP screening facilities. Excellent counseling centers are also set up that teach and make women aware of the management and prevention of breast cancer. Women coming up for regular breast check-ups also can avail counseling sessions from a trained psychologist.
