Dr. Amit Chakraborty is an eminent cancer surgeon, in Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Mumbai. He is mainly practicing in Chembur, Kurla, Powai, Mulund, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Sanpada and Dombivli. He is focused on treating cancer patients by providing them with specialized and compassionate care.
He completed MBBS from NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre & Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Nagpur in 2007.
Dr. Amit Chakraborty is registered as a Medical Practitioner at Maharashtra Medical Council since 2008.
Later he continued with masters in General Surgery (MS) from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik in 2013.
He went ahead to pursue super specialization and Surgical Oncology (MCh) from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2017.
He is also a renowned member with a Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), UK.

His area of expertise lies in skillful treatment of Head and neck cancer with a special emphasis on voice restoration, cosmetic reconstruction, and breast cancer.
He is well known for his skilled ability in treating Gastrointestinal Cancers and Gynecological cancer, Hypothermic or heated intraperitoneal chemoperfusion (HIPEC) which is used for treating aggressive Abdominal cancers, Thoracic cancer and Chemo port insertion.
His conventional approach to manage cancer in this field of oncology is remarkable with over 10,000 patients being treated for Head and Neck Cancer and 3000 – 4000 patients with Breast Cancer and over 500-1000 treated with Ovarian cancer.
He is involved with constant ongoing research on cancer therapy and he has various international and national posters and paper presentations to his credits.
His area of interest include: Head and neck Cancer, Buccal mucosa, Tongue cancer, Reconstruction with free flaps, laryngeal cancer – voice preservation surgery, Breast conservation surgery, Ovarian cancer, Cytoreductive Surgery (CRS), Hyper thermic Intra Peritoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) and many more.
